Leave it to Traxxas to put the huge torque of a the Titan 550 motor into the 1/16 Summit for unstoppable climbing, roosting, monster performance! The Titan modified motor is designed for incredible mod-motor power output with virtually maintenance-free operation, and long-lasting performance. The Titan 12T 550 motor's integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through the motor to keep temperatures down. Airflow is routed through vent tunnels molded in the motor plate. A cooler running motor equates to faster speeds, longer runtime, and extended motor life. The XL-2.5 Electronic Speed Control offers high current handling, EZ-Set® one-button setup, and smooth high-frequency control. The 1/16 Summit is fully assembled and Ready-To-Drive® with an included Power Cell NiMH battery and charger. Titan® 12-Turn 550 Modified Motor

1/16 Summit includes a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified motor--the same motor used in Traxxas' larger 1/10 scale models! The Titan's over-sized armature (30% larger compared to 540-sized armatures) is equipped with 12-turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling capabilities. Lower running temperatures are achieved with the integrated cooling fan. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and is designed for consistent torque and high speeds from run to run, without fading.

Pivot Ball Suspension

1/16 Summit features pivot-ball suspension for smooth suspension articulation and easy adjustment. How do I get Traxxas warranty service?

All warranty claims should be handled directly through Traxxas and not your hobby dealer. If you suspect you have a warranty claim, contact Traxxas toll free at 1-888-TRAXXAS (1-888-872-9927). Many times we are able to immediately solve problems over the phone.Traxxas Corporation assumes responsibility for their products and will repair or replace any defective product at their sole discretion.

Our toll-free customer service line provides direct access to our highly experienced factory trained representatives. In most cases, warranty items are sent out the same day the request is received. In the event that factory service is required, our technicians are usually able to make repairs within a 3-5 working day time frame after we receive the product.

In addition to these warranties, Traxxas offers an extended service plan for electronic components after the 30-day warranty has expired. This plan states that Traxxas will repair electronic components, at any time throughout the life of the part, for a flat rate of $15.00 plus $5.00 for shipping and handling. The electronic components covered under this service plan include certain Traxxas electronic speed controls, and all transmitters, receivers, and servos. Be sure to check here for more information on Traxxas' extended service programs.

Traxxas also offers the Lifetime Engine Replacement Plan for nitro-powered engines. This plan allows you, at any time throughout the lifetime of your TRX Pro.15 engine, to exchange it for a brand-new TRX Pro.15 engine at 50% of the suggested retail price of a new TRX Pro.15.
